John Holthusen
- Private
Hello
John Holthusen was my great grandfather and i am trying to locate information about him. He said he served in the Civil War but i have not been able to find his records. At Ancestry.com they list a John Holthusen in the 94th NY Infantry Regiment. National Park Service list a John Holthusen in the 12th Illinois Infantry but this was him. There was also a August Holthusen who served in the 39th NY Infantry. August would be about the right age but wrong first name. Not sure if you can help me or know of an on line list of soldiers in the 94th Infantry, thank you for your time. don
